Glamour Magazine Girl-with-a-belly Lizzie Miller

I wanted to touch on this subject seeing as it has been all over the net for the last few days and wanted to know what everyone thought about it.

The picture is supposed to symbolise what a real women is... but is a real women defined by having saddle bags or wrinkles? I don't think a real women should be purely objectified by what she looks like naked, whether slim, curvy or larger. Personally, I think it is all good but what truly makes a women beautiful is not the size of her waistband or the length of her legs but simply the fact that she can have the confidence to not care what other people think and to love herself just the way she is.

What are your thoughts on this matter? Do you think its fair to say, just because the women to the left is slightly larger then a catwalk model she is more beautiful? or should beauty be based on who she is and what she stands for?

The September Issue

Hi ladies,

I went to see The September Issue on Monday after much anticipation and to my delight found it alluring, honest and most of all hilarious. The movie was projected with a tanacity and respect for the world of fashion and showed just how much hard work went into making the most inspiring magazine in the world, Vogue!

I felt the movie allowed us to see the true personality of Anna Wintour, and showed us that she is in fact not an "Ice Queen" but rather someone who appreciates hard work and talent. I admire her greatly and feel she proved she is not only human but has a great sense of humour too.

I do have to mention her wonderful Fashion Editor, Grace Coddington who stole my heart, and the show!

Hope to hear what you all thought about the movie.
